Paris is always a good idea… The Olympic Games promises to make it one of the finest moments ever to experience the City of Light! We are renting our spacious studio home for three weeks during the Olympics - July 24 to August 13 - for a total of 3000 euros. No extra fees. We are flexible with dates around the Olympic Games (July 26 to August 11, 2024) Our home is on the Left Bank, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, beside the Panthéon - minutes from Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine and Notre Dame Cathedral. If you are familiar with the TV series « Emily in Paris » then you have seen our blue door which makes a cameo appearance in many episodes. We are at the far end of this Place, next to the Boulangerie and the Italian restaurant where Emily (and we ourselves) dine. The flat is in a discreet 5-story 17th Century building, on the ground floor, tucked away in the back of the building, overlooking a garden plot of giant bamboos and plants - a rarity in Paris! It is a cozy, quiet and restful space - our hideaway from the hustle and bustle of life in Paris. An oasis of calm and serenity. We love coming back here after a full day out and about in the city. The main living area has an ancient stone fireplace, exposed wood beams, wood floors, a large picture window (looking onto giant bamboos and plants), a very comfortable queen size sofabed, a round brass coffee table, a snug reading retreat, a folding dining table that can easily seat six, a ‘hidden office’, and a built-in armoire with plenty of space for your belongings. Two steps up from the living area takes you to the fully equipped galley kitchen (gaz range with two burners, combined microwave oven and fridge), with a large window also overlooking the bamboo trees. At the end of the kitchen you enter another room - the toilet - which we call ‘the art gallery’! At the opposite end of the flat is a full bath with shower and ample cupboard space. This has been our home for the last fifteen years. We love living here. And we hope you will, too! Please consider it YOUR HOME in Paris for the Olympics!
